It is based on information collated by BMW UK over the past 90 days of new car sales and aftersales service transactions, where the customers have subsequently elected to complete a satisfaction survey online or by phone. I reported a fault with the air conditioning system it functioning intermittently. Chandlers could find no fault and when I enquirer if the fault recurs whether it would be covered under the warranty which is due to expire immenently they said no.

The technician is not keeping me informed of the claim on the warranty for the leak on the differential. I called him once 10 days after the service and since then he has not got back to me. The car was services on the 13/06/2017.

While waiting for my air-conditioning to be mended I was installed in a comfortable chair with newspapers and magazines to read and given cups of coffee. Offers of more coffee were frequently received from members of different departments who passed.

Ok except recall procedure involved disconnecting battery; when reconnected, the tyre sensor was not reset - so 2 miles down the road, I had a tyre warning, leading to unnecessary stop at garage to check tyres and reset sensor.

The customer service was atrocious.The body shop had to be chased for the quotation, I had to return for pictures , they sent incomplete information to the insurer.The service desk was worse in failing to call me or report on reported problems.

Chandlers Worthing has improved its customer service recently, having had a poor start when the new facility opened last year (?). There are now suitable signs for arriving customers, a receptionist for service customers and the coffee station.

I was satisfied with the service but disappointed that although only in for a service no one offered to explain to me what had been done or if anything was noted. As the service was part of a pre paid scheme I did not get an invoice with details.

Because up until now I have been very disappointed with Chandlers , both Worthing and Portslade . This time I was very surprised of the service I received , it was what I would have hoped for from a decent garage .

After 10k miles I don't think that the screen jet reservoir should require cleaning. Especially as in a previous cabriolet I experienced the same problem and was guilty of using a non BMW product. Customer svc response not satisfactory. Chandlers OK
