Good end to end experience , ease of booking in, date I wanted, tie I wanted and serviced in time stated , 90 minutes
Really simple, quick and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I have had 2 previous services with chandlers and the experience was not as great as my recent MOT/service. They really impressed me this time and hope this level of care is kept up
Lawrence Herbert was a pleasure to deal with. Very courteous, went out of his way to accomodate my early start, great communication keeping me well informed. The bill was huge so he did his best to soften the blow
Dropped car off and within a couple of hours you'd found the issue and was resolved by lunchtime (ready to collect).
The booking in could have been easer ,the chap had some problems with the computer,perhaps he was new.
Quite a number of service activities completed at one go. May have been chance or wrongly set service light at last service. Expensive service
Service completed in a timely manner but car returned with scratch, SWright@chandlers-bmw.co.uk handling the query, not yet resolved.
I booked my car in with the service manager. I needed a courtesy car, therefore had to wait a couple of weeks for a slot which was fine It was disappointing therefore, that on arriving on my allocated day, no car had been reserved for me.
Very much as my comments above; these comments apply to all the staff I came into contact with; both by phone and face-to-face.
We were without the car for 2 weeks as a part required to complete the service could not be readily obtained. Unacceptable in the 21st century. This is no reflection on the service staff as they were as frustrated as we were with the delay.
Good staff. We are loyal customers. Danny lives at Pagham, picks our car up on his way into work, has worked very well. He now has to go into work, then go and pick up cars, at a cost to the customer of £15. NOT ON, VERY DISSATISFIED.
Did what I asked without quibbling. This has nothing to do with chandlers. But I bought the car 6 months ago approved used and I think the dealer I bought it from could have carried out this £560 service. It has left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth
After the service was done my car was returned to me without the car being washed and cleaned. Never before has this happened.
Work done free by BMW and car valeted too.
The team upon arrival had a system failure .. they didn't know I was coming in to pick up my car !

Chandlers have always made the effort to accomodate their customers, while many "other" BMW dealerships do not.
my only complaint is that they will no longer take cash payment which i have found easier for me.
Although not the nearest garage for an MOT, the customer experience is very pleasant at Chandlers

Poor customer service and after sales

The service department did not have the parts needed for my car despite my calling them prior to my appointment and informing them of the MOT recommendations. They then told me I had to return in 14 days to have the work carried out. Which I can't do
Despite being back 3 times to get this issue fixed I received no apology for not finding the issue sooner. This would have gone a long way to improve the customer experience
The new BMW ACE 2.0 dash cams were not explained,Genius didn't understand them at all. The car was off road for a week ( not only the dash cams of course and was agreed) but it was handed back unwashed and new front dash cam left on drivers seat

We have had 13 BMWs down the years and while the vehicles themselves are great and we have had very few mechanical issues - the service from the dealerships seems to be degrading. When you are paying main dealer prices for service you expect to get
It was a simple job of replacing an earth strap on the rear hatch back but took over an hour and a half, it should have been fifteen minutes. A car that arrived for an MOT at the same time was completed well before mine. Very poor.
I encountered an error message on my screen driving down from London to visit family in Walberton. I explained the problem over the phone and they were able to fix it in time for me to drive back after my visit so I was very pleased with the service.

It was great, I was seen to immediately by a sales rep. They offered me great hospitality before they even knew I would be a client. Because of this I felt comfortable doing business. Upon handover the car was explained in detail before I drove away.
